The indie/roots band, Dispatch, has announced, ahead of their world tour, their first-ever performance with The Colorado Symphony, and we are so here for it! This is the first time in their career that the band has performed with a symphony orchestra. They will also be joined by special guests, Ripe and Emelise as their support acts.
Dispatch is one of the most renowned acts in the industry, and their most recent album releases, America, Location 12 and Location 13, prove that this band is stepping up to bigger and better things. Their latest single, ‘Year of The Woman’, was released in 2019, and the single was released in support of women’s movements of the past and present.
Dispatch has been known to be about more than just their music. They are known for advocating for multiple different causes and campaigns throughout their career. Chadwick Stokes, the band’s frontman, has created a non-profit called Calling All Crows, which allows fans and bands to join together in collective activism that has raised more than half a million dollars. Brad Corrigan, who is the guitarist of the band, has been working on Love Light and Melody, a non-profit organization that amplifies the stories of children who live in extreme poverty, and help bring them hope through music, arts, sports, and education.
Dispatch has proven over and over that they are more than just a band.
