Rod Wave Announced ‘Ghetto Gospel’ Tour for 2020

After his debut album Ghetto Gospel had huge success in 2019, Rod Wave announced the tour to accompany it in 2020. The album was one of the top rap albums of the year debuting at #14 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Sounds in Ghetto Gospel

The songs have diverse sounds and feature Kevin Gates and Lil Durk. Some linger on a more blues vibe while others remind us of some old school rap.

Songs like ‘Green Light’ and ‘Brace Face’ have a very different sound side-by-side yet throughout the album you can hear the struggles and pain Wave is rapping about. There’s no denying that he’s an amazing lyricist.

And we’re not biased at all. Wave’s album was on the music charts for weeks, proving his appeal is to a mass audience. We can’t wait to see how he brings this album to life. The tour is to kick off in March and end in April, so you’ll know where to find us this Spring!

While we wait for the tour to come around, we’ll be watching some of the videos Rod Wave has on his Youtube channel. One of our favorites is his live performance with Kevin Gates.
