Dreamville Drops Revenge of the Dreamers III: Director’s Cut

Dreamville Records adds more songs onto the Revenge of the Dreamers III album, which was released back in July. A couple days ago, they dropped two tracks: ‘BUSSIT’ by Ari Lennox, and Still Up by EARTHGANG and Reason. It was at first unclear of why the single was titled 1/16, but Dreamville soon made the announcement; something was coming on the 16th.

Here it is, folks! Dreamville drops Revenge of the Dreamers III: Director’s Cut. The deluxe versions includes an extra 12 songs, making 30 songs total. Who wouldn’t want nearly two hours of pure talent, am I right?

A few outside voices collaborated with the Dreamville artists, such as Vince Staples, 6LACK, Childish Major, Smino, Guapdad 4000, and more! You can listen to the 12 songs on Youtube down below!

You can also stream Director’s Cut on Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and other music platforms.

As mentioned, two tracks were dropped before the release: ‘BUSSIT’ and ‘Still Up.’ As you listen to the 12 tracks, you will realize both tracks represent the vibe of the extra songs. One minute you’ll feel lightheaded with the chill beats and the next make you want to get up and dance. It’s all about balance, guys.

However, the switch between vibes can be inconvenient if you’re in the mood for a specific sound; that’s where we come in.

Looking for a more R&B, maybe a little bit of 90s, still up in the middle of the night-type of vibe? Keep these tracks in one playlist:

‘Spin Move’ – Dreamville & Bas (feat. Saba, Smino, & The Hics)

‘BUSSIT’ – Dreamville & Ari Lennox

‘Still Dreamin’ – Dreamville, JID, & Lute (feat. 6LACK)

‘Disgusted’ – Dreamville & Cozz (feat. Childish Major)

‘Passcode’ – Dreamville & Ari Lennox (feat. Buddy, Smino, Mez & Guapdad 4000)

‘Still Dreamin’ – Dreamville, JID, & Lute (feat. 6LACK) (Yes, we know this is already on the list. But they really saved the best for last.)

Need songs to get hyped to? Maybe songs to play on the aux and blast them so loud your windows might break? You need these songs:

‘Big Black Truck’ – Dreamville & JID

‘Still Up’ – Dreamville & EARTHGANG (feat. REASON)

‘Outta Pocket’ – Dreamville, Bas, & Cozz

‘Up Up Away’ – Dreamville, JID, & EARTHGANG (feat. Vince Staples)

‘No Chorus’ – Dreamville & Bas (feat. Dreezy, Buddy & Guapdad 4000)

‘Revenge’ – Dreamville, Lute, Omen, Ari Lennox, & EARTHGANG (feat. Childish Major & REASON)

‘Late Night’ – Dreamville, Cozz & Omen (feat. Buddy & Landstrip Chip)

What do you think?

It is clear that Dreamville takes importance in collaborating with smaller artists to give them a voice. They also take pride in creating sounds different from the common trap beat used in every rapper’s song. There is so much talent in this group, and we can’t wait to see where their music takes them!

What do you guys think of the 12 tracks? Do you love it as much as we do? Leave your thoughts in the comment section below, or feel free to tweet us @THEHONEYPOP on Twitter!
