Listen up my dudes! There’s this super rad band called Chase Your Words out here making waves in the music biz and honestly? We’re in love.
They’re a Canada-based pop-punk band who’ve been producing bangers since 2013. Got love life struggles? Blasting CYW in your room and screaming along to your heart’s content is highly recommended. (Whaaat I haven’t done that pshhh…)
ANYWAYS! They’ve got an upcoming EP, Sayonara, which they recorded with none other than Derek DiScanio from State Champs, so obviously we’re totally hyped for that. Plus, the music video for its title track, also named ‘Sayonara’, was released today through Alternative Press! Check it out below:
In an interview with Alt Press, vocalist Chris Siglos gave some background into the creation of the single describing it as “more developed and grown.” He also gave some insight into the meaning of ‘Sayonara’, saying, “The song is really about saying goodbye to people who did me wrong or consistently let me down with no apologies or signs of change.”
Chase Your Words was the first ever band to be signed by Kellin Quinn’s label Pretty Rad Records, and they’re now signed to Lost Music Collective. They’ve toured with Sleeping With Sirens, I See Stars and The Wonder Years.
The band members are all super cool dudes who’ve been friends for years. You can follow them all here:
