Selena Gomez is DOMINATING the Charts After Her Return With ‘Rare’!

Selena Gomez has been all we can talk about lately. Since making her hugely anticipated comeback to the music scene, it seems as though the world can’t seem to get enough of her, and here are the receipts to prove it.

Selena’s third album, RARE, has just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with 112,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in its first week. The album sales were quite strong, coming from fans who wanted the whole album, as almost half of those units (50,000) came from full-album sales. RARE is Selena’s third consecutive studio album to debut atop the chart. wbk she’s a QUEEN.

The battle to the top of the charts was against Roddy Rich’s Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social and was quite a close call, but Selena came out on top, beating Roddy by 2,000 units.

But it doesn’t stop there, as the first single ‘Lose You To Love Me‘ – her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart – is currently No. 1 at Top 40 Radio! The single is her fastest-ever platinum seller with 807 cumulative global streams. Co-written by Selena Gomez, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Mattias Larsson, and Robin Fredriksson, the chart-topper is Selena’s 29th song to enter the Billboard Hot 100, with 14 of them going into the top 20 and eight entering the top 10. GO OFF, MISS GOMEZ!

Selena’s new single RARE will officially impact U.S Radio on Tuesday February 4th.
