The bushfires are still raging despite the countless efforts from firefighters in Australia and joined by volunteers of their brotherhood from around the globe. And, it hits home for too many of our favorite artists, including 5 Seconds of Summer. As the land that one of the hottest bands in the world calls home continues to be ravaged, performers from around the world are doing their part to help.
Australian’s own 5 Seconds of Summer have posted repeatedly on their Friends Of Friends website regarding how you can donate, including introducing a merch line that is set up for 100% of proceeds to go to Australian Red Cross. While both YUNGBLUD and Halsey have put on shows accepting donations in exchange for admission. And our queen, Lizzo, went to a food bank in Australia to do what she could to help as well.

More than 15 million acres of land have been lost to the fires in Australia — that’s 7x the 2019 Amazon fires, and 3x the 2018 California fires. At least 24 people have lost their lives, 1,300 homes have been destroyed, and it is estimated that 8,000 koalas have been killed. Please join us in spreading awareness about this devastating natural disaster, and please donate if you are able. We love you all, thank you.
And now, Australia is the central focus of the music industry again as Fire Fight Australia has been announced, a benefit concert with a star-studded roster, scheduled for Sunday, February 16th. Music lovers in Sydney can attend the event, with all profits going directly to National Bushfire Relief.
Final and limited release of tickets go on sale today at 10am AEDT! Grab tickets here before they’re gone!
