Adam Lambert Launches ‘Feel Something Foundation’ and We Are Sobbing With Pride

Adam Lambert is best known for being an international, superstar singer, who blew the world away on the eighth season of American Idol. Since then, he has gone on to have a phenomenal solo career and a world tour with Queen (Queen + Adam Lambert). In Adam’s early career, he garnered a Grammy Award nomination for international hit single ‘Whataya Want From Me’ from his debut album, For Your Entertainment. His sophomore album, Trespassing, became the first to reach the No.1 spot in the US and Canada by an openly gay artist. That is a noble and impressive feat!

That brings us to where Adam is today. In what is probably the most important project of his whole career, the musician has launched the Feel Something Foundation (FSF), a non-profit organization in support of LGBTQ+ human rights

As a member of the community himself, Adam has spent time throughout his career engaging in LGBTQ+ activism. FSF has come about as a result of the singer’s world travels, in which he met global members of the community, heard their stories, and witnessed first-hand the difficulties LGBTQ+ people continue to face in all aspects of life.

With the vision to see LGBTQ+ communities of all ages and backgrounds enjoy full human rights within a fully-inclusive society, FSF first aims to ensure support is given to the multitude of issues that continue to affect them. Lambert plans to achieve this by working with charities that have a mission or project directly focused on having an impact on the LGBTQ+ community in areas of Education & the Arts, Homelessness, Suicide Prevention & Mental Health. The Feel Something Foundation wants to abolish “coming out” as a term used to define someone simply being themselves.

FSF will operate from the personal, charitable contributions of its founder, directors, and public funds raised through fundraising, awareness campaigns, events, and initiatives. The first fundraiser is set to launch very soon with an online clothing auction of some of Adam’s best looks.

FSF is one organization that we can definitely get behind. We stan an empowering king!
