It’s Been One Year Anniversary Since the TXT lineup reveal! Let’s Celebrate With a Throwback …

It seems like just yesterday that Bighit announced they would be debuting a new boy group and the hints and teasers began to drop. MOA across the world have been celebrating the anniversary of each of the announcements members and today marks one year since the full lineup for TXT was announced.

MOA used the hashtags #TXT와_함께한_일년_함께할_내일 (together with TXT for 1 year, together with TXT tomorrow. A pun referencing the group’s name) and #OneYearWithTXT to show their support, the latter of which trended Worldwide and in South Korea on Twitter.

In November 2018, Bighit announced that a new group would debut in early 2019 and the group name TXT (Tomorrow x Together) was revealed to the world on January 10th 2019 with an introduction file for the eldest member in the line up, Yeonjun, and a series of photos posted on social media and the group’s website. Gradually the full lineup was revealed through a video and teaser photos, a 5 member boy group with members, Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai.

MOA showed their support through the hashtags, some sharing their memories from this time last year and reliving their anticipation and excitement for the debut.

They have broken records as a rookie group, achieved their first music show win, won rookie awards at the end of year award shows and topped charts on a global scale. The group’s choreography made our top 10 list.

Their much-awaited light stick was released to order this week, incorporating theme colours and imagery related to the group and the fanbase, MOA. The design is fun and youthful and we can’t wait to see the light sticks in action at TXT performance events this year.
