Over the past two decades, Queens-based band, Bayside has delivered us diverse, authentically deep, sincere music. Bayside, never molding to trends, uses music as a direct reflection of their lives over the changing years. Their timelessness and consistency have recruited fans so die-hard that they live for everything that this band is and creates.
Focused on constructions songs with substance and relevance, Bayside has kept pure to themselves while consistently progressing. In 2019, The band dropped their 8th studio album Interrobang via Hopeless Records. This album built to invoke their listeners with a collection of bold, inspiring, full ranging songs. Striving to be more than just mediocre, Bayside refuses to quit, and render on past successes. Delivering the most massive album of their career, they remind us that the best is yet to come.
Now, if you’re pop-punk veterans like ourselves (yeah, we’re old..we get it), then you are exceptionally enthusiastic about a tour in honor of one of the best early emo songs out there. A staple to the scene, ‘Blame It On Bad Luck,’ is an absolute banger. Additionally, all of their albums are stacked with bop-after-bop. As if we’d stop there… This tour lineup is also a serious roster of emo-pop-punk masterminds. Joining Bayside on this bill includes Senses Fail, Hawthorne Heights, and Can’t Swim.
The band shares that “In our early years as a band, we never would have imagined that we would have been celebrating twenty years, but we did always know that we wanted to be the kind of band that stood the test of time…” And what they want to give to fans is a celebration of the music they’ve made over the last twenty years, while thanking fans for supporting them precisely as they are (which is damn near perfect).
