‘Trust Fall’ Right Into Incubus with New EP & Tour

It’s not like you don’t already know what a great band Incubus is, but just in case, we are here to remind you. Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling, philanthropist, Incubus have announced EP Trust Fall (B Side) for release April 2020. They didn’t stop there either, but a SUMMER 2020 NORTH AMERICA TOUR with 311, which kicks off July 15th. With tickets on sale to the general public on February 7th, through Live Nation. 311 also celebrates a monumental 30th anniversary! This summer isn’t the first time that 311 joins Incubus on tour, but it is the first time in 20 years. What better than one hell of a celebration.

First coming together (before some of us were even born) in 1991, Incubus is made up of Brandon Boyd (Vocal), Mike Einziger (guitar), Jose Pasillas II (Drums), Chris Kilmore (Keyboard/DJ) and Ben Kenney (Bass). They have elevated both themselves, and alternative music to innovatively new heights. Based in California, these West Coasters have sold 23 million albums worldwide. In 2017, Incubus 8 landed #4 on the Billboard Top 200, making it their fifth Top 5 debut. 2019, the band celebrated the 20th anniversary of their triple-platinum classic (holy shit is right), Make Yourself, with a completely sold-out tour.

Hell Of A Deal

Well, this time around, we also get 311, which we think is one hell of a deal. A hybrid of rock, rap, reggae, and funk? Known best for one of the most entertaining live bands, 311 is the icing on top of the Incubus cake.

Incubus’ upcoming EP release Trust Fall (Side B) will be here just-in-time for the tour. This EP is single ‘Into The Summer’ released last year, which gained more than 1 million views on the official music video. Also included is recently released single ‘Our Love.’ This single is a super groovy, bouncy song with a funky lil bass line. Fontbabe, I mean frontman, Brandon Boyd’s voice hypnotizes us in a chant before giving us a searing solo. Sorry, but we couldn’t resist shouting out Brandon Boyd for not only being the babe of the nineties and today but also as an incredible philanthropist. Boyd, along with the rest of Incubus, founded The Make Yourself Foundation (MYF). MYF gives back to communities around the world with the support of their dedicated fans. We are HERE for it.

And well, if ALL of that doesn’t intrigue you enough to get to this tour there is more! You’ll also get to see them perform the classic like ‘Wish You Were Here,’ ‘Pardon Me,’ ‘Megalomaniac,’ and more.

Check out the single, or let us know which date you score tickets to, over at @thehoneypop so we can yell about the greatness together!
