We’ve Found The Cure For Little Hurt With ‘Better Drugs’

We doubt this is the first time you’ve heard the name Little Hurt, but we are certain it won’t be the last. A former member of international sensation indie-alt-rock band The Mowgli’s for close to a decade, Colin Dieden has branched out on his own to create a larger than life solo project. Via Century Media, his debut solo single ‘Good As It Gets’, was released earlier this year, and we’ve yet to stop listening.

Now, we’ve got a brand new single to obsess over! Little Hurt delivers ‘Better Drugs,’ and we think you should do yourself a favor and check this SHIT OUT.

Thankful for Jumping Off the Metaphorical Cliff

Little Hurt wanted to make the world his own and share that story, apart from everything else. Did homeboy deliver? We say, HELL, YEAH. On his new single, Little Hurt shares, “It was at that point it became clear that I had to jump off the cliff, no matter how scary it was, to pursue what was out there for me behind the door I hadn’t yet opened.” The catchy sing-along alt-pop tack hits alternative radios on February 18th, and it the latest release off of Little Hurt’s forthcoming debut solo EP.

On this EP, Little Hurt tells a story entirely his. An advocate for mental health, he opens up about his complicated head, anxiety, and struggles with depression. Opening up by saying, “I’m not always the happy guy, but I’m happy opening up like I have here.”

With influences across the board, Little Hurt has shaped a style that is dynamic and dreamy, while teetering on the fence between alternative and pop. Also styled with candid lyricism that makes for perfect hooks before a one of a kind electric breakdown, we couldn’t be more impressed with the deliveries Little Hurt has bestowed on us.

Debut EP expected in 2020, and Little Hurt will surely connect with many. When you hear his music, Colin says, “I want you to feel like you’re not the only crazy person in the world, “…”It’s normal to go through anxiety and depression. I want to let everyone know they’re not alone. We’re all a Little Hurt, and it’s okay.”

Do you hear us? It’s Okay.
