What would it be like to go back in time to 1995 to when Foo Fighters went on tour for the first time? On this 2020 Van Tour, this will be the closest to time travel we may ever get. Foo Fighters will be revisiting some stops from their 1995 tour, and although it’s not all the same venues and clubs, we’ll be able to see them in some of the same cities they toured in a Dodge van 25 years ago. And, as a bonus, all shows will feature a sneak peek of Dave Grohl’s new documentary WHAT DRIVES US.
WHAT DRIVES US will be about what brings people to leave so many things behind so they can bring their music to the world. It will be his personal experiences and his motivation, and the toll of touring in a van all those years. We can expect it to be emotional and story-telling, and we can’t wait to see what Dave Grohl has in store for us. We may have to wait a bit to see the full documentary, but we’ll be getting a preview on tour!
