Twice a week just wasn’t enough so our new daily Sweet Releases are sure to have you stanning more artists than you have room on your plate!

So, load up on the bonbons, sit back with your noise-canceling headphones. These sweet releases are coming at you hard and fast and you don’t need any distractions.

Natalie Shay — ‘Not The Girl’

‘Not The Girl’ by Natalie Shay is an upbeat and authentic track, with lyrics that tell a story. “This song was written on reflection of a relationship, but more from a perception of understanding rather than a big ‘f*ck you.’” She wrote it years ago and now the song has a new meaning for her, of not feeling good enough in relationships and the frustrations that come with that. The song may have a different meaning to all of you, and no matter the meaning you find in the song, we have no doubt you’ll love this track.

Nafsica — ‘Lately’

Super raw emotion coming through this song! There’s a simple, soothing melody and Nafsica’s vocals layered throughout, give the song a super dreamy feel. It really encapsulates that head in the clouds feeling when you cannot get someone off your mind. Her lyrics are extremely relatable and really are the powerhouse of the song. A very laid back slow jam perfect for when you are crushing hard.

Portes — ‘In Lockstep’

Using new age electronics along with a primal undertone Portes hammers out a message. Her lyrics call out lies and hurt, demanding to be heard with a powerful voice. Just as we are haunted by the lies and disinformation, the electronic sounds carry in the melody, a personification of those emotions. Her closing lyrics “are we having fun yet?” just hammer home the notion that this is just a game to the object of her rage.

Dante Palminteri — ‘I Don’t Even Know You’

Serving serious anti-Valentine’s Day realness, Dante Palminteri’s newest single ‘I Don’t Even Know You’ is the perfect song to listen to when you are totally not feeling the love anymore. Palminteri gives us a bubbly, upbeat jam talking about what it feels like to not recognize someone you once thought you loved. We’ve all been there, but this song is anything but sad, and we promise you, you’ll be dancing along to it for days. If you like catchy beats and funky lyrics, we have found the song for you!

Heart To Heart — ‘HeartBreaker’

Heart to Heart’s new album ‘Heartbreaker’ opens with a drumy heavy song called ‘Ø Love’, the same sound we associate with the punk rock and emo genre. Great vocals carry you away with this heartfelt jam. The lyrics are straightforward but speak the mind of the lead singer which rings crystal clear. Six songs to rip your heart out and mend them again.

Live Well — ‘Winter Jawn’

Live Well’s newly released EP Winter Jawn has hit all the right notes! It’s only 2 songs long but both songs are relatable, emotive and easy to sing along to. If you are currently studying, then ‘Classes’ is definitely for you, it describes all the ups and downs of student life. Whilst ‘Stay’ is a heavily emotive plea to someone you don’t want to lose. So if you wanna get lost in your feels, this is the EP for you!

How’s that for a sugar high? With a list like that, can life get any sweeter? We think not.
