We Have A Theory About This Dead Man

Theory Of A Deadman, also known as multi-platinum band Theory, has officially reached the top of the charts for their single ‘History of Violence.’ Straight off their newly released album Say Nothing via Atlantic Records, ‘History of Violence’ marks Theory’s sixth number one on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart. Additionally, it is their fourth number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart.

If you are an avid The Honey Pop supporter (better be 😉), then you know we’ve had only the best things to say about this group. This is no different. Both this single and video send an incredibly powerful message that is important to bring to attention.

*This video includes images/topics of domestic violence. If this content is difficult, we ask you to please care for your safety and well-being.

Turning the tables on a story of domestic violence, illuminating light on abuse as a woman endures abuse from her husband, and slowly plans to fight back, landing her in jail, but free of her abuser. Theory has encouraged those affected by domestic abuse to call the National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233) for support. Furthermore, these bad-ass rockers have partnered up with PLUS1 to donate $1.00 of every ticket bought to organizations that dedicated to breaking the patterns of domestic violence and building a safe space free of abuse.

Check them out on tour, while supporting a great organization, as they hit Canada and United States this spring!
