Talinda Bennington and Kevin Lyman Talk Mental Health

Next month, Talinda Bennington and Kevin Lyman are having an evening about mental health awareness, 320 Conversations. This special event is happening on March 9th, at the USC Board Auditorium and is bringing together leaders and experts on the subject to help de-stigmatize mental illness.

Hosted by Ken Jeong, it will feature many panelists from various industries and backgrounds. The panel will include Tiffany Jenkins from Juggling The Jenkins, Morgan Free, Creative Director and Co-Founder of Emo Nite LA, Jason Docton CEO of Rise Above The Disorder and Erin Raftery Ryan the Executive Director of NAMI Westside Los Angeles. Together they will discuss their personal challenges and experiences in a safe environment complete with a special performance from Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October.

“The idea for 320 was born out of my personal experience and the recognition that we can do better to address the needs of those who are suffering with mental health concerns and addiction,” said founder Bennington in a press release.

As the event brings together mental health awareness, music, community involvement, and event production, they hope to find a new way to speak about this awareness and even hope to host a 320 Festival in the spring at L.A. Live.

“It is a true honor to be involved with the 320 Festival, honoring the legacy of Chester Bennington and bringing together so many wonderful organizations in the mental health and resource space together,” said Lyman in a press release.
