Twice a week just wasn’t enough so our new daily Sweet Releases are sure to have you stanning more artists than you have room on your plate!

So, load up on the bonbons, sit back with your noise-canceling headphones. These sweet releases are coming at you hard and fast and you don’t need any distractions.

Oliver Malcolm — ‘Switched Up’

‘Switched Up’ takes us on an adventure with broken beats that are nostalgic of 90s R&B. This song is riddled with hurt. Desperate lyrics such as “no more” repeating make sure we know the artist can’t take anymore. Oliver’s disheveled appearance in the music video just adds to the atmosphere of an angry, cagey feeling, begging for a release or escape of some kind. Paranoia and mistrust decorated by the vocals of Oliver Malcolm. “Switched Up’ will leave you wanting more from this artist.

Pollyanna — ‘Good For You’

Full of energy, Pollyanna brings us ‘Good For You’. The lyrics are sung from a place deep down, with fun guitar riffs that brighten the mood of the song. The fun upbeat backing track continues throughout the song whilst the lyrics are very blunt and honest, because sometimes when it comes to love, doing what’s best hurts. So it’s time to rip that bandaid off because not every relationship has a happy ending.

Matt Jaffe — ‘Wicked World by Bill Plympton’

Matt Jaffe has created a fun approach to the darker side of the world as he looks back in a nostalgic daze while also despairing the realities in a humorous animation. What’s going on is not easy to digest but the lyrics help to bring a sense of understanding while the music is upbeat and catchy with fun and unique riffs. Between the lyrics and animated music video, we get a sense of how messed up and confusing the world seems to be today.

Pyramid Tropic — Last Forever

Pyramid Tropic offers a sound that is reminiscent of that of The 1975 but more retro, with smooth vocals encompassing synth-pop dance music. The song is the perfect addition to any playlist and will have you dancing along from the moment it starts playing. ’Last Forever’ has beautiful lyricism on too of its techno beat, and quite frankly, it’s bomb AF. We can’t wait to hear more from this group soon!

Nu Deco Ensemble & Holly Harrison – ‘And Whether Pigs Have Wings’

Nu Deco Ensemble never fails to disappoint with operatic vocals and classical instrumentals unsurpassed by anyone else! They offer a unique sound and stunning visuals every single time they release a video. There is truly nothing else like them out there in the music industry and we are so stoked to see what the future holds for them!
