So, load up on the bonbons, sit back with your noise-canceling headphones. These sweet releases are coming at you hard and fast and you don’t need any distractions.

Chapell — ‘Shout’

First of all, we are in love with the added violin. It and the piano add a classical element to the rock song that blows it out of the ballpark. The rough, raspy vocals of the band’s lead singer pack a punch and create dimension throughout the entire song. He has a way of getting you to feel every emotion he feels as he croons about self-empowerment. We have no doubt Chapell and their latest single ’Shout’ are coming in hot and ready to take the music industry by storm.

Long Beach Dub Allstars — ‘Youth’

Long Beach Dub Allstars come to us with their new song ‘Youth’. Inspired by the gun violence dealt with by our youth today. It inspires change through a powerful message, with lyrics such as “youth are struggling let’s be honest you gotta give your all” The delivery of these lyrics speak in a way that an uncle or grandfather would be talking about the issue. The backing beat is warm and constant like the comfort of a family member but the message is clear and certain. If we want change, we need people to care.

Z. Smith — ‘Am I Crazy’ feat KNOX & Kelsey Tegenkamp

Z. Smith creatively illustrates abuse and toxicity in a relationship. It hurts when you love someone but you know you’re bad for one another. Sometimes the hurt can feel addicting. ‘Am I Crazy?’ opens with a voice and beat reminiscent of Linkin Park and P.O.D. In the music video, we watch the highs and lows of a relationship unfold. Two other, softer, voices join in adding the layers not only to the vocal range but story as well.

Samuel Jack — ‘Gonna Be Alright’

Wow, this track is so powerful. Not only does Samuel Jack have some smooth, soulful vocals, but they accompany heartstring-tugging lyrics. ’Gonna Be Alright’ is a song about the celebration of recovery and serves as a reminder that no matter what you’re going through you can overcome it. An emotional yet catchy track that offers a danceable melody AND beautiful lyricism. Samuel Jack is going to go far with this tune and we can’t wait to see it happen!

Mo Lowda & The Humble — ‘Pearls’

“Pearls” is just the song we need to hear. It doesn’t take long for its catchy lyrics to reel us in. Mo Lowda starts by giving us deep vocals paired with sick bass in the background. Relating to something we’ve all been through, feeling alone while in a relationship, “Pearls” gives us the boost we need to move on.

Hello Forever — ‘Farm On The Mountain Top’

Hello Forever released their debut album Whatever It Is and we can confidently say that it is a vibe. The 12-track album is full of upbeat, energetic and colorful songs. You can hear the psychedelic vibes of an era gone by layered with modern melodies and sounds, creating a laid-back, but still upbeat listening experience. If you would like a visual companion to the listening experience, a music video for the track ‘Farm On the Mountaintop’ is available for your viewing pleasure. If you like the modern hippie vibe that Hello Forever embodies, this album is the one for you! Give it a listen!
