Sweet Releases Music To Sweeten Up The Weekend.

Welcome to Sweet Releases, your daily indulgence of all the latest playlist must haves, hand picked and ready to enjoy!

Twice a week just wasn’t enough so our new daily Sweet Releases are sure to have you stanning more artists than you have room on your plate!

So, load up on the bonbons, sit back with your noise-canceling headphones. These sweet releases are coming at you hard and fast and you don’t need any distractions.

Leo Dessi — ‘Superstars’

‘Superstars’ is a fun beat juxtaposed by an insanely shot music video. The video is A1 and the snow is making us feel all wintery, complete with fire and ice fishing. Leo Dessi and Ty Senoj seem to be doing whatever they want, looking to the sky for their endless possibilities. Like true ‘Superstars’ they’re just having fun and doing what they do.

Ren — ‘I Drive Me Mad’

So, Ren’s latest single ‘i drive me mad’ features some seriously hard-hitting lyrics. They’re accompanied by frenetic power-pop beats so you’re not sure whether you should sob, or bop along. This provocative anthem and it’s accompanying video addresses the suffocating chokehold of anxiety. Ren believes it has an important message and is relatable to panic attack sufferers, we’re so glad she’s bringing attention to mental health issues.

Magdalena Bay — ‘Airplane’

Magdalena Bay brings you ‘Airplane’ a classic pop track. The soft and reserved beats reverberate the air with sympathy and emotion. In particular the lyrics, “Life’s taking off but your heart breaks” show that life can move quickly making it hard to slow down and smell the roses. Sometimes, in the long run, we end up feeling like we’re leaving people behind literally and figuratively. This song is beautifully creative, to sum up, all those feelings. You don’t want to skip this one!

Cee Kay — ‘Pine Bluff’

‘Pine Bluff’ is a dopey AF track. Cee Kay is spitting out some fire verses in their track as he pays homage to his hometown. Seemingly, he comes from a rough part of town as portrayed in the music video, but he overcomes any struggles he’s gone through and has made a name for himself in the rap industry. Cee Kay will continue to be on our radar, and we have no doubt he will be taking the rap community by storm as he continues to rise in fame.

How’s that for a sugar high? With a list like that, can life get any sweeter? We think not.
