It’s times like these we learn to rock again. The first ever D.C. Jam on July 4th marks the 25th anniversary of Dave Grohl’s debut one-man-band album in 1995. To celebrate the Foo Fighters’ accomplishment, that set in motion a new age for musicians, Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffeem, D.C. Jam will be a 24 hour Foo Fighters rockathon!

Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl started the Foo Fighters a year after the tragic death of Kurt Cobain. Rising from the ashes, the Foo Fighters emerged, a brand new sky to hang the stars upon. Now lead singer Dave Grohl and company introduced a new sound to the back-end of the grunge era, still keeping the heart of rock and roll beating to this day.

The 2020 D.C. Jam will follow the band’s Spring tour. The mini-festival will feature popular musicians Pharrell Williams, the Go-Go’s, Chris Stapleton, Band of Horses and more! The event will also feature a BBQ competition, rides, games and a tailgating experience.

Here’s a few songs we hope to hear from the beloved Foo Fighters July 4th!

Times Like These

My personal favorite! My senior year of high school, this was my anthem as the pressures of leaving for college and spending time with my hometown friends became a priority. Looking back, those truly were times I learned to love again!

Learn To Fly

A total classic headbanger. This’ll get you jamming in the car or moving your feet in concert. I’m truly bummed I won’t get to see the Foo Fighters play Learn to Fly this summer.

Talk about the perfect break-up song. This one hits home, and while it might slow down the concert’s raucous crowd, everyone listening will bow their heads and feel it too.

These Days

My favorite of their newer songs. A little different than most of their songs musically, These Days reminds us to live life to the fullest. Or at least that’s how I heard it. And to me it delivers its message while also creating a jumping mosh pit.

Get Your Tickets!

While presales have come and gone, tickets are now public! Grab them now while you can. This show will be a hot commodity and a perfect way to spend the 4th of July!

Create some memories. Enjoy good food and go wild for the Foo Fighters!
