Love him or hate him, but we love him. Cleveland Ohio native, Machine Gun Kelly, has shown his versatility time and time again. Now, as he releases ‘why are you here’ music video, nothing has changed. Headbanging his way into the world of pop-punk, this is his first single of this genre. Sure, he’s dabbled with features. All from titans of the industry like Kellin Quinn and Travis Barker. But, something all his own has us feeling all types of scene-queen (or king).
If you’re like us, well, then you’ve been an MGK rider since the beginning. You know, 100 Words and Running, liberty spikes, way less tattoos (but just as beautiful), pre-Colson type shit. Maybe you’re new to the MGK craze, in which case we feel sorry for you. Sorry that you missed out on a come up that was something serious.
Machine Gun Kelly:
Rapper, Actor, Model, Straight-up SNACK
No stranger to doing it all, Machine Gun Kelly has dabbled in all areas of fame. Rapping, acting, modeling, and more, he’s made quite the mark. From 106 And Park to Warped Tour, MGK has a completely multi-talented fan-base. So we think it’s super sick that he’s doing it again with this video. Only to follow up with an entire pop-punk album. LAWD ARE We stoked.
This video was directed by Miles and Aj, this video, and tells the heartbreaking tale of love gone wrong between eye candy MGK and former fling. Seriously we are wondering how home girl could have let that one go—looking like a snack (as usual) Machine Gun Kelly displays his alt-rock attraction throughout the video both aesthetically and through his fits. Adding an edge to high-profile attire, we’re graced with all 6’4 of him in designs from Dior, Saint Laurent, and Calvin Klein.
Swoon with us here:
Following the release of singles ‘Candy’ ft. Trippie Redd and ‘I Think I’m Okay’ ft. YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker, there were some pretty big chucks to fill. Machine Gun Kelly has weathered the storm just fine. After the release of his latest studio album Hotel Diablo and his sold-out world tour, NBD. Let’s just say, if you’ve yet to catch his live show, you’re missing out. Because it is one of the most high energy live performances, you’ll witness in this lifetime, in our opinion anyway.
Can We Say Dream Team?
If we’ve hyped you up like we think we should have, you’re probably wondering when you’ll get your next glimpse of this fox. Luckily enough, it’s sooner than you think. Joining long time homie (can we say dream team?) Pete Davidson in Jason Orley’s comedy Big Time Adolescence by NEON in theaters March 13th, and streaming on Hulu March 20th. Tiding us over until the impending release of his pop-punk album, we’ll be here to tell you all about what he does in the meantime.
