The New Regime — Heart Mind Body & Soul

The New Regime is delivering us some hot tracks this week. The 3rd LP installment of their Heart Mind Body & Soul has been released. Their forthcoming album has so far been released in 3 parts, all of which will come together to form the full-length album. This LP features four tracks, including ‘Struggle In My Bones’ and ‘Heart Mind Body & Soul.’ The songs are amazing, and we do not doubt that this album is going to be kickass.

Heartmouth — ‘Worth It’

Where do we start with this unbelievable song?! The band’s masterful vocals paired with the soft music creates an emotionally hypnotic song. The lyrics are incredibly attractive and inspiring, and we cannot get enough of it. It serves as a gentle reminder to listeners to always live in the moment because tomorrow is never promised, so do it now, so you don’t have regrets. That’s a statement we could all learn from.

Erin Lunsford — ‘Virginia Brother’

This song is just about as sweet as they come! Erin Lunsford tugs on all the heartstrings with this soft acoustic love letter to her younger brother. Not only are her angelic vocals matched perfectly with a slow but sweet melody, but these lyrics! You guys, grab some tissues because this one is a real tear-jerker. This song is very personal, and it is one of those songs that transports you right into the heart of the performer.

Benjamin Gordon — ‘Take Me Home’

Benjamin Gordon has done it once again, ladies and gents. His new single ‘Take Me Home’ taken from his upcoming debut album Where Did We Get Lost out on April 3rd, is everything! It is the perfect slow jam, but it don’t bee fooled, this is a powerhouse of a song. With gospel influences and haunting vocals, ‘Take Me Home’ is sure to move you. There is intense energy behind Gordon’s vocals, and the production on the song pairs perfectly with the feeling of yearning and the feel of being wanted.

Pluko — ‘the lovely one’

Sparce, to begin with, we listen carefully to the beats played out for us. Brightening as the song goes on, ‘the lovely one’ by pluko sends us into a spiral of rolling beats, with bass to make the ground shake crank it up and feel it out. Glitter turning into keys, we close this tune with a sense of completion. Check out ‘the lovely one’ by pluko; it’s a lovely one.

Emily Shaw, aka Faerie the Kid — The Sky is The Limit

Missouri-based artist Emily Shaw, AKA Faerie the Kid, is set to release her new EP The Sky is The Limit on April 3rd! The EP will include her current singles, such as ‘Film,’ ‘Telephone,’ and ‘Aware.’ While creating the EP, Emily spoke on her creative process, which included experimenting with different objects for sound purposes and incorporating poetry in her writing. “I just remember feeling that what I wanted to say couldn’t just be said with music anymore, so I started incorporating my poetry in and making songs,” she states. The overall meaning behind her next project will be relatable to all, as it deals with anxiety, love, loneliness, and jealousy.

Jett Kwong — ‘Tokyo Bath’

Next is Jett Kwong, who releases her new single ‘Tokyo Bath.’ She uses many elements in the track to give the listener a lightheaded feeling, including a Chinese guzheng and, of course, her delicate vocals. “This is all coupled with a vision of a Hollywood party, specifically one in Laurel Canyon that Father John Misty might host,” Jett explained about the concept of the video “and feeling excluded, laughing at the ridiculousness of it all… yet also feeling bad about NOT being included and wishing to have a piece of the pie. For the video, we focused on sex/racial tensions.”

Christina Munsey — FOR ME, OR FOR YOU

Christina Munsey’s For Me, Or For You EP, is beautifully crafted. From Christina’s breathtaking vocals to the melodious notes handcrafted together to form mind-blowing music, this EP deserves all the love and recognition in the world. It brings all your emotions to the surface and makes you feel every raw emotion Munsey is feeling. She is a true artist and showcases it throughout the entire EP. This EP is an actual work of art and is unbelievably beautiful.

John-Robert — ‘Urs’

Ready for the next big thing? Well, we have something for you right here. John Robert brings to us ‘Urs.’ Folksy and chill vibes incoming, this song is a treat. Emotions can feel too vast to get a handle on, but sometimes some things are too precise for the confusion. A steady hand strums the guitar as a powerful voice speaks of overwhelming certainty.
