Sam Smith – ‘To Die For’ (Acoustic)

Only accompanied by the gentle piano and cello, bathed in a warm glow, Sam Smith gives us a raw track about longing for a person you’ll love to death. No secret that Sam Smith’s voice is an instrument in itself, but this acoustic version of ‘To Die For’ really allows them to showcase his talent. This is the type of track you can picture as the soundtrack for a night of raw passion. This new version just speaks to the romantic in all of us, and we think we might need to grab a box of tissues.

‘Forever’ – Fletcher

Is FLETCHER a goddess? We at Fresh Music Friday say…hell yes! Especially with her new single ‘Forever.’ With a thumping club beat, FLETCHER professes her determination to love herself. The most bass-driven track of her career and she smashes it. Sometimes “the one” comes a little too early before we can truly love them completely. FLETCHER describes this new project and year as a time to find herself and “date” herself, mistakes, bumps, and all. She’s scheduled to join Lewis Capaldi on Niall Horan’s 2020 Nice To Meet Ya Tour, set to begin on April 20th, and we of course already have our tickets!

She has a way of writing really relatable and emotional stuff, and this song really hit a line drive straight into our feels.
