Positivity Place: Olly Murs ‘Dance With Me Tonight,’ Jewel’s Livestream For Never Broken, & Online Drawing Classes For Children

Welcome to our Positivity Place, where we’ll be keeping you updated on all the things that could make your day a little brighter. This might become your new favorite place, as it’s becoming ours. Made to put a smile on your face and a warm feeling in your heart here’s some news to make your day better!

Dancing With Olly Murs Last Saturday Night

On Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Olly Murs was scheduled to perform there, but the thing is, there couldn’t be a crowd because of the current world situation. Olly Murs still went on and delivered an unforgettable performance of ‘Dance With Me Tonight,’ but even without an actual crowd, he had the world dancing. People sent in videos of them having the time of their lives to the song, and the videos were played during his performance!

It was so heartwarming and emotional, it even made us cry a little bit. To see unity and people coming together to make it such an unforgettable and fun performance is incredible. There were so many people with different lives and jobs, including kids, elderly in homes, paramedics, and in the videos, they’re just having a good time and dancing to Olly Murs. It’s truly amazing what they did for his performance, and it put huge smiles on our faces, and hopefully yours, too! Watch the video above that Olly posted on his Instagram. If anything belongs in Positivity Place, this does.

Singer Jewel Livestreams To Benefit Her Never Broken Program

So many events are getting canceled, not only concerts but events like fundraisers, too. Those events are more essential, and it becomes difficult for certain programs and charities to have the money needed if they can’t hold fundraisers. The Inspiring Children Foundation was supposed to hold a fundraiser, which was due to raise $1.8 million, but unfortunately, it’s been canceled. So a live stream powered by Inspiring Children Foundation and held on Jewel’s Instagram, Live From San Quaranteen: A Livestream Concert happened March 21!

The goal of the live stream was to raise funds for her Never Broken program, a program that wants to help everyone “Make happiness a habit!” It’s an amazing program, and they’ve got awesome parts to their website with sections of quotes, groups to share stories and info, and so much more to check out! Illustrator Hosts Live 30-Minute Drawing Classes For Children As They Have To Stay Home

Wendy MacNaughton is an illustrator and graphic artist, and as kids all around the world either have school canceled or are doing online classes at home, she’s got a way to keep them entertained! She’s going to hold Instagram live streams for 30-minute drawing classes for children, Monday-Friday at 1 pm EST!

Wendy had said, “When we’re drawing the hair on a dog, you are drawing one line after another line. That process is very calming for me and for them. I hope that it helps them access that calm place inside themselves when the world’s going a little crazy outside.” We agree this is a nice calming way for kids to escape creatively right now, and we highly recommend it!
