Human To Human, A Facebook Live Festival

Music is so important right now as we’re all uncertain of things and isolated, and bringing music to everyone has been a common goal of artists and events. It’s one thing keeping us unified as we have to be apart. On Saturday, April 11, Human To Human will take place from noon to midnight EST! There will be performances from some big-name artists, and all the proceeds will benefit PLUS1’s COVID-19 Relief Fund that’s working with MusiCares. So it’s a win-win stream; it’ll bring entertainment to you while you’re at home and helping the whole situation. That’s the reason you are at home.

There’s a vast lineup ready, full of some artists you’re guaranteed to know, and some who might become your new favorites! For example, you might know Alec BenjaminTori Kelly, Skylar Grey, Colony House, Hunter Hayes, Jewel, Sam Fischer, JP Saxe, Bre Kennedy, Jonathan Russell (The Head and the Heart,) and Lauren Daigle. There are a lot more artists lined up, and let us tell you, you should be excited, and you should definitely tune in to the Facebook live event! You can find their Facebook here when it’s time for the event!

I was inspired to be a part of Human To Human because I need that connection right now more than ever, I think we all want that right now. And being able to possibly be a part of other humans’ days at least helps give me a little glimmer of hope. I am looking forward to hearing other incredible artists from the room and getting the chance to connect with people through my songs all over the world.

It is an honor to be a part of Human To Human – where we can bring people together to celebrate music at a time when we all need it most. To be able to raise money for those negatively affected by this horrific virus, share a live performance, and interact with people around the world as we all shelter in place is a small but hopefully impactful way to bring some peace to us all.

Sofar Sounds Live-streams

Speaking of musical live-streams, here’s another good one! Actually, it’s more than one. It’s every day with a new artist. It’s an online space for artists to give a live stream performance to a global audience, and it’s free! The shows, of course, have an option of donations, and the donations would be given to either the artist or toward Sofar Sounds global artist fund. We know this Positivity Place series has mentioned lots of live streams already, but that’s because many of them really are making a difference in this time where we all need to self-isolate.

You can watch the current streams as they happen, or you could go back and watch a past one you might’ve missed on YouTube! And, you can still donate even if you missed whatever stream you want to watch. There’s some big artists (including American Authors performing April 10!) and other artists who you might have never heard of but could wow you anyways.

Music is such an important part of our lives right now, and we highly recommend you check out Sofar Sounds so you could get some live music brought into your home as we social distance. Check out the website here!

Plus, since we mentioned American Authors, here’s a link to their upcoming live stream!

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Gives $1 Billion Towards Start Small LLC. For COVID-19 Relief

Can we all give a round of applause for Jack Dorsey? He’s giving $1 Billion to Start Small LLC to find global COVID-19 relief. $1 Billion is 28% of his wealth, he’s giving so much to help the world, and we all need to take a moment to appreciate that. After the pandemic is lessened, the money will go to girls’ health and education, and UBI. Everything that’s positive and huge deserves to be in a Positivity Place, and this deserves to be here so much.

“Why girls’ health and education? I believe they represent the best long-term solutions to the existential problems facing the world.” He’s going to make a huge impact with all that money, and he’s putting it all to good use. You can check out his main tweet of the thread below, and if you want to see the rest of the thread, then just click on the tweet and check it all out!

That’s all in this Positivity Place article; we hope it made you smile and gave you a little bit of hope today!
