Egomunk Announced All The Proceeds From His Song ‘Islands’ Will Be Donated To Age UK

Egomunk is truly an artist we cherish, especially at this time. He’s full of so many good ideas, whether it’s what his songs/videos are about, why he goes by the moniker Egomunk, and his thoughts on life. He has a new song out called ‘Islands,’ and it’s about the loneliness of the elderly and us caring for the elderly. With the meaning behind the song, the song’s proceeds are going to a relevant cause, to Age UK.

The song ‘Islands’ could not be more pertinent to our current worldwide situation. From the first line, “I don’t think I’ve ever been as lonely as you…” It delves right into the heart of isolation and loneliness centering on an elderly man and his carer.

It reminds us that this life is about being there for each other and acting with compassion and love rather than succumbing to fear. There is a further twist in the video, which it does bring into question what ‘real’ companionship is and the nature of sentient beings.

Egomunk is doing something amazing to help the elderly in the UK with the proceeds from his song, and we are so here for it. You can check out his song ‘Islands’ here, and you can read a bit about Age UK here!

Echosmith Are Continuing Their Digital Tour

With COVID-19, unfortunately concerts and tours have been either canceled, postponed, or rescheduled all across the world. A lot of people are having a hard time knowing it might be a while until their next concert, and while a digital concert will never be the same as an in-person experience, it’ll have to be good for now. Echosmith has taken that to the next level, they’re not doing just one livestream of a digital concert, they’re literally doing a ‘Lonely Generation Digital Tour.’ Not very long as it’s gone from April 1 and will go to April 17, but that’s incredible to be able to do at this time and we all really needed it!

It’s not just Instagram lives, it’s across multiple social platforms and different media outlets, so it really is a tour across different locations. And, they’re performing songs off their new album Lonely Generation, which is an incredible album and we highly recommend you listen to it, especially if you need something new to listen to during quarantine! Check out the ‘Lonely Generation Digital Tour’ dates and see if you can check one or two out before it ends!

One Direction Is Doing Something For Their Ten Year Anniversary?!

Okay, if you have a Twitter account, you’ve definitely heard about it. We don’t know what’s happening, but something definitely is. Liam Payne has told the world about the former band members of One Direction talking a lot recently and planning something, we don’t know if it’ll actually be a reunion or not, but Directioners have come back to life. Even if you’re in another fandom, we’re sure your timeline might have almost changed as if you’re a One Direction stan.

1D has come back to life on Twitter too, they haven’t tweeted anything but they’ve made some lists unprivate, so the world can see the “One Direction Day VIPs.” Plus, they’ve even apparently followed someone, not sure who but screenshots from today show they followed one more person than previous screenshots. Furthermore, they’ve resized their header! Not sure why, but they did! Even Liam and Niall FaceTimed recently, Liam put a 1D pic on his TikTok, AND, if you search One Direction band members, Zayn shows up as a vocalist. We’re not saying for sure if anything will involve Zayn, and if he does anything for it, it will hopefully be because he wants to.

Either way, Directioners have since trended at #1 and had a One Direction online concert! The stans kept their 1D loving spirit and are still proving that they’re the reason stan twitter is as powerful as it is. Something with One Direction is in the works, and yeah, it belongs in a Positivity Place, why? Because this is a really happy moment for their fans. It’s especially a piece of hope for them during this current world situation, at least they can hold onto the band they’ve loved all these years.
