Oh Wonder, our favorite British duo, have just announced a new series called Home Tapes. Lucky for us, they’ve already dropped the first single! It’s called ‘Lonely Star’, and you can listen to it here.

‘Lonely Star’ is a hypnotic ballad that will certainly get you in your feels. The song highlights everything that makes Oh Wonder stand out in the music industry. Tapping into emotions of not just loneliness, but also insecurity and yearning, ‘Lonely Star’ reminds us there is a whole galaxy full of people just like us. The band’s ability to make subtle tones and haunting melodies popular in a world full of heavy bass and bluntness is unmatched.

Oh Wonder’s New Series
Home Tapes will be a series of music that the Londoners will write, record, and produce at home. Josephine Vander and Anthony West explain the inspiration behind the project.
The duo says, “In this unprecedented period of confusion and loneliness, we wanted to contribute to the world’s efforts to make sense of it all, in the only way we know how. In the absence of certainty, at least we will have music, and we hope that these songs provide some comfort, companionship and relief to those that need it.”
