Here Is Your Guide For BTS ‘Bang Bang Con’

It is time to bust out your BT21 headbands and ARMY BOMBS because BTS will be providing entertainment of their fans at home by streaming past concerts in what is being called BANG BANG CON. The online concert event will be held over two days with day one starting on April 18th at 12 PM KST and day two, beginning on April 19th at 12 PM KST. Here at The Honey Pop, we have everything you need to know so you don’t miss out on a second of the action.

How You Can Watch

Most fans will probably be familiar with how the group has streamed concerts before on their Vlive page, but for BANG BANG CON, the concerts will be live-streamed on the BTS YouTube page, ‘BANGTANTV.’ Each day will stream a total of four concerts/fan meetings, but it is crucial to keep in mind of the time difference –while the online concerts will take at 12 PM KST on the 18th and 19th, that means that show time will be at 11 PM EST on April 17th and 18th.

How To Get Involved

While many fans will be tweeting along to the shows, BTS are providing another way fans can be part of the action. The boys are allowing fans to get involved and making it feel like an actual concert by enabling ARMY to sync up their lightsticks on Weverse to be in tune with the performances. If you have been to a BTS concert (or any kpop concert), then you know one of the best parts is the lightsticks. Not only do they bring fans together and show support of the group, but the view of the crowd is always breathtaking. Keep an extra pair of batteries close by and enjoy the light show from the comfort of your bed, couch, or wherever you decide to jam out.

Wait, Weverse?

If you’re unsure what Weverse is, it is the site/app that BTS uses to talk to their fans and post exclusive content for them. While having a Weverse account isn’t needed to watch the stream, you will need it for connecting your lightstick if you wish to participate in that aspect of the online concerts. Weverse is also an excellent source for keeping up to date on any news regarding BTS activities. Fans keep up to date on events such as concerts, to when a comeback is about to happen, and the times where Taehyung posts photos of his dog, Yeontan, are a big plus as well.

While the boys aren’t actually right there live and in person, you can bet that ARMY around the world will be dancing and yelling out the fan chants in the comforts of their own home. The BTS online concert will provide everyone who watches a few moments to forget the current situation at hand, and fans are more than grateful for the boys for giving this experience.
