Every Star Wars fan knows that May 4th is honorary Star Wars Day. Usually Disney has an array of activities plans for fans that include special theme park offerings and commemorative merchandise but unfortunately, things are a little different this year. Thankfully, Disney isn’t going to let May The Fourth happen without a celebration which is where Disney+ comes in!
Kick off your May the Fourth celebration by watching the series premier of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian when it premiers on Disney+.
Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is an 8-episode documentary series that is going to take fans behind-the-scenes of the breakout Disney+ show. The series will be hosted by Jon Favreau as he invites the cast and crew to share their experiences and never-before-seen footage of the making of The Mandalorian.
Be prepared to learn about the incredible filming process the cast and crew underwent when they set out to make The Mandalorian. In addition, Disney Gallary: The Mandalorian promises to explore the legacy of the Star Wars franchise started by George Lucas and how The Mandalorian characters, stories, and props connect to the franchise at large. And of course, the documentary series will also explore that fantastic score that was not created by John Williams, who has scored every Star Wars film to date.
Just like every other show on Disney+, Disney Gallary: The Mandalorian will air new episodes every Friday. We guess that means the Force is going to be with us for several weeks!
Once you’ve watch that you’ll want to refill your popcorn and take a bathroom break because the series finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is also coming out on May 4th.
Fans have waited seven years for the conclusion of The Clone Wars and its finally here! You might want to grab a tissue box while your at it!

Once you’ve watched all the new offerings we suggest ending your Star Wars Day celebrations by watching the Star Wars films that started it all. 8 out of 9 of them are streaming now on Disney+.
It might not be the May the Fourth we’re used to but it is definitely going to be one to remember! So put on your favorite Star Wars shirt, grab your lightsaber, and sit back and enjoy the best galaxy ever.
