If the world feels like it’s crumbling, John Legend’s most recent release ‘Bigger Love’ is here to remind us that we’ll be okay. Its groovy reggae vibes and uplifting lyrics remind us of the many forms of love in the world. Showing the innate part of human nature that we need to love more in these times.
“This song is a celebration of love, resilience and hope,” says Legend. “I wrote it last year, before any of us could have imagined what 2020 would become. The message of the song is that love can help carry us through these dark times and music can bring us joy and inspiration. I hope it brings some light to people’s day and maybe inspires a dance break!”
Legend performed ‘Bigger Love’ during Global Citizen’s “One World: Together At Home” digital special to support frontline healthcare workers and the World Health Organization. He will also perform ‘Bigger Love’ on “Saving Our Selves: A BET COVID-19 Relief Effort.” This event will help provide critical financial, educational and community support directly to African Americans hit by Coronavirus crisis.
