Pretty Fly of The Offspring To Make Sure The Kids Are Alright

Badass Punk Rockers The Offspring have partnered with Chronic Tacos and Gringo Bandito. All in the name of donating school lunches during a much needed time of crisis. If you are unfamiliar with The Offspring – we politely ask what the hell are you doing?

Founded in 1984 by singer/guitarist Dexter Holland and guitarist Noodles, they have progressed into a multiplatinum punk rock band. One that delivered hits on hits with songs like ‘Pretty Fly for a White Guy,’ which became close to a national anthem. While other hits like ‘Self Esteem,’ ‘Want You Bad,’ and ‘The Kids Aren’t Alright’ showcase everything we love about this genre.

Now, these Orange County natives partnered with Mexican Grill Chronic Tacos and Gringo Bandito. Gringo Bandito was founded by our own, The Offspring lead singer, Dexter Holland. Chronic Tacos is a Cali-inspired taco shop that prides itself on the celebration of authenticity and individuality of guests. Respecting tradition and keepin’ it real. Founded in 2002, this So-Cal brand now has over 60 locations operating across the U.S., Canada, and Japan. High-quality ingredients, bold flavor, and authentic traditional Mexican items.

From Hot Sauce to Hot Damn!

Dexter Holland’s Gringo Bandito was started over ten years ago as a hobby for him. The overwhelming response to this new hot sauce from family and friends made Holland decide to put it out commercially. Several years, millions of bottles later- the hot sauce has a worldwide audience, and more importantly, a loyal following. Sold in many places all over the world and coast to coast in the U.S. It has made its way to the top ten highest rated hot sauces on

The partnership allowed them to help serve school lunches to qualified local students outside of Perry Elementary school in Huntington Beach. All because school-sponsored lunches went on hiatus for Spring Break. Supplying an equally badass meal, they served over 400 meals, including a burrito, chips, salsa, and bottled water using the Chronic Tacos Food Truck. Stationed at the school site parking lot The Offspring, Chronic Tacos Employees, and members of Huntington Beach School District helped to hand out lunches to families of those students who rely solely on school-supplemental meals. We think that these dudes are super rad for doing something so productive in this time of need. They’ve made us proud to be lifelong fans- and have got us pretty intrigued about hot sauce.
