‘Hot Chicken’ a new song by Ocean Alley that’s ready for us hot off their new album coming later this year. We’ve already heard some good things so we’re pretty down for this latest track. The funk and heavy synth are here for us. Can we handle it? We might just get lost in the music this time.
‘Hot Chicken’
‘Hot Chicken’ is a great title, whether you’re hungry or ready for a good time. The song is funky and 70s approved, as always Ocean Alley doesn’t stop. We get those groovy vibes right away with the opening “call in a favor, I need to contain it and I’ll be the razor if you wanna play”. The guitars are like seasoning to the meat that is the steady drumbeat. Dip it in those sweet, sweet vocals and we have a meal of a song plated and ready for us to devour.
"So I hold these chains Walk, into the serpent's cave So I hold these chains, walking I could just stay, wasting away"
We know the song isn’t about food but the puns keep coming. This song is truly a creative gold mine for the mind. Take a trip on the train of contradiction to feel those deeper meanings. What lies beyond the surface? Find out for yourself.
Lonely Diamond
Their third album will drop on June 19th. With what we’ve heard so far this will be another wild trip through Ocean Alley.
