In case you weren’t aware, Disney+ has a bunch of fun Star Wars themed offerings coming to the streaming service on May the 4th. One of those offerings is the brand new documentary series Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. The series is hosted by Jon Favreau, the show’s creator, the show will take viewers behind-the-scenes of The Mandalorian.

A new episode will air every Friday, except for the first one which will drop on May the 4th. Each episode promises to give us an inside look on a different faceted of filming and will feature interviews, never-before-seen footage, and roundtable conversations hosted by Favreau.

As we said earlier, fan events are really what Star Wars Day is all about. Just because we can’t hang out together physically doesn’t mean we can’t do so virtually. There are tons of virtual events that will be happening all day long.

One of the biggest virtual events, however, is being put on by Scum & Villainy, a Star Wars themed bar in Hollywood, CA. They have organized a 24-hour live stream via Twitch that will feature special guests including Kevin Smith, exclusive new product reveals, fun new interviews like one with The Clone Wars cast, and they’ll also be showing some fan made films!

The event kicks off at midnight on May the 4th so you better have those laptops charged and lightsabers ready to go! You won’t want to miss it!

It sounds like Star Wars Day is going to be an epic adventure! We can’t wait to celebrate!
