Those new songs we’ve been anxiously waiting to get the studio versions of are finally starting to trickle out. For the first track of 2020 joan released their newest song, ‘love me better,’ and if you aren’t bopping your head along by the end of this song, we think you need to take another listen.
Giving us throwback vibes and synths in all the right places, joan talks of giving their loved one a second chance to love them better.
“Gave ya my heart, now give it back/ When you gonna learn to love me better,” with a chorus this catchy, how could you not give this duo all your love?
The visuals for the new song are just as carefree feeling as the indie-pop tune itself, even though it only features joan on a blacktop basketball court in front of a colorful mural because you know, social distancing.
“set a camera on a tripod for thirty mins and made a cute lil video for “love me better”. available now on youtube”

The video also features adorable shots of Alan Benjamin Thomas and Steven Rutherford playing basketball, hula hopping, skateboarding, dancing, and just having a great time to their upbeat hit.
