LVRN (aka Love Renaissance) Work From Home Program Pledges $50,000 For Creatives During COVID-19

LVRN, or Love Renaissance, created the LVRN Work From Home Program to help financially support creatives who are having trouble supporting themselves during this pandemic. That’s something really incredible at the moment since they’re helping out people in need!

LVRN is pledging $50,000 to a relief fund, the program will allow creatives to work on LVRN projects and win cash prizes for doing that, so it’ll be a big help financially while keeping up their creativity. They’ve got so many different jobs that artists can do whether they DJ, do stage design, graphic design, or animation. Not only does it help financially and keep up with their need to create, but it also gives them an opportunity to work with Love Renaissance and see what they can do together!

Banksy Inspires And Pays Tribute To NHS Workers With Artwork

Banksy has made tribute artwork to honor the NHS staff! It’s been painted onto the wall of a hospital corridor and features a little boy playing with a nurse toy, wearing a mask, and flying with a cape. There’s the common phrase we all know of, “not all hero’s wear capes,” and this piece shows a hero that doesn’t usually wear a cape, wearing a cape and being depicted as heroic as Superman. And it’s true, nurses and doctors are just as heroic as any superhero you’d see in a movie.

Banksy’s artwork

Banksy left a note for the healthcare workers, stating “Thanks for all you’re doing. I hope this brightens the place up a bit, even if its only black and white.” It’s for sure going to boost morale a bit and inspire the workers, as well as us just reading about it. Banksy is out there spreading some positivity, and it feels good to write about him in this Positivity Place!
