TELYKAST’s new single ‘Daylight’ is OUT!

Correct us if we’re wrong, but we do think electro-pop rules the world of parties and nightclubs. And that’s exactly why TELYKast is one of our favourite bands. It seems like we’re not the only ones to have taste. The LA-based trio earned about 40 million streams independently, surfing on a success wave that doesn’t seem to be ready to stop anytime soon. Indeed, TELYKAst’s new single ‘Daylight’ featuring One True God is out, and it certainly looks like it could become a party anthem.

About ‘Daylight’

What’s the track all about then? “She only loves me in the moonlight. / She always leaves me in the daylight.” An organic sound, reinforced with a throwback electronic production and trancelike vocals highlights the bittersweet lyrics. All that, accompanied by a pulsating bassline and nocturnal synths. And it works. The song already received more than 3 million streams. Crazy, isn’t it? The title might not ring a bell, but if you’re a TikTok addict, you 100% heard it before. Let us tell you more.

The new TikTok trendy track

As soon as the song was out, the most creative people on the web jumped on the occasion to launch challenges. It firstly started with Conrad Rocha, an American TikToker, who created a whole dance for the song! The views and likes skyrocketed and even reached some of the biggest influencers on the platform, including Addison Rae (39.1M followers), and Dixie D’Amelio (21.8M followers). Her video was watched more than 20M times. The boost powered by the use of ‘Daylight’ by those big names only made it better: more than 49K TikToks made it onto the platform. POPSUGAR even ranked the track among their list of 69 Songs You Definitely Know On TikTok.

More about TELYKast

Ever since TELYKast (Linus Altman-Kurosaki, Kyle Tonoli, and Trevor Klaiman) started the band in 2012, their sound revolved around electro-pop. Definitely something that could put a whole dancefloor on fire. Their collaborations with Kaskade and Georgia Ku quickly became proper party anthems, that they brought to life on stage during their sold-out headline shows with a DJ, a vocalist, and a guitarist. Therefore, it’s the perfect mix for a perfect night and a success story on its way! If you want to give them a go, we remind you that TELYKast’s new single ‘Daylight’ featuring One True God is out now!

To sum it up, we loved the tune and we’d like to know if you did, too! Let us know at @TheHoneyPop on Twitter, or visit us on Facebook!
