Kim Petras & So Many Other Stars Take Us To Malibu (While At Home)

Kim Petras took us to Malibu, well, the ‘Malibu’ (At Home Edition.) She made a video for her brand new pop track ‘Malibu,’ using green screens and lots of footage of some of her celeb friends lip-syncing to the song. Not only can we appreciate the video, but the song itself is pure gold. Her voice? Stunning and sweet. The music? It makes us want to dance and forget all our problems. It felt like a Malibu beach party, filled with summer vibes.

We’re being fed content from Kim herself, and from other celebs as they make cameos in her video! There are so many celebs in her video, some of the biggest ones including Demi Lovato, Madelaine Petsch, Jonathan Van Ness, Paris Hilton, Todrick Hall, Jessie J, Charli XCX, Aly & AJ, Loren Gray; along with so many more. The star-studded video took us on a virtual trip to Malibu, and honestly, we really needed that vacation.

And you know what else? Every single lyric could make a great Instagram caption. “When your eyes are so pacific view” would be such a great caption, for example! Or even the main lyric, “and all your kisses taste like Malibu.” You can’t tell us that it isn’t a cute caption.

Are you planning on having a Malibu-inspired pool party just like we’re planning one right now (maybe a one-person pool party considering quarantine)? Let know what you think of Kim Petras’ ‘Malibu’ star-studded video by commenting below or by tweeting us @TheHoneyPOP!

And for an album made in such a short amount of time, while at home and in quarantine, it’s amazing. Each song has it’s own flair, filled with the futurist-pop style she’s maintained throughout her songs. Appropriately titled how i’m feeling now, the album describes how she’s feeling during these tough times, and also matches our vibes right now, too. Say it with us, she’s the quarantine queen.
