With Harry Styles’ 2020 tour ‘Love On Tour’ postponed until 2021, his fans have taken matters into their own hands. Here at The Honey Pop, we’re delighted to introduce you to ‘Love OnLine’. It’s organised by fan update account @LTHSUpdates on Twitter, this online concert experience is completely free too!
When we sat down for a quick call with the team behind ‘Love OnLine’, we only got more excited. We’ve all been missing going to shows, after all, it’s where most of us are happiest.
“We wanted to try and give as close to a real ‘concert’ feel as we can to those who either couldn’t attend in general or had their show postponed/cancelled…the goal behind ‘Love OnLine’ is to bring a little bit of normality and excitement to all of those who are missing Harry & his shows right now.”
If you’ve ever been lucky enough to attend one of Harry’s shows in person, you’ll be all too aware that his shows are more than his music. From excitement around his show outfits to inside jokes and how accepting the environment is to the banter between songs. His shows are truly unique.
But that’s when a particular moment is mentioned and we all laugh. It’s occurrences like this that they all hope to recreate.
It goes without saying that millions of fans worldwide were counting down the days until Harry’s tour this year. So it’s no surprise that thousands of fans have already signed up for a ticket. To top it all off, everyone with a free ticket is automatically entered into a merch giveaway!
If you’re just as curious as we were about what this concert will be like, then you’ll be hyped to know that it isn’t going to just consist of his studio albums! In fact, their team has created a specific setlist that they’ll be broadcasting. It consists of music from both albums as well as, their favourite covers of his and clips from previous shows.
“Blending all these elements together allows us to create the ‘concert’ feel for those attending, and we hope that people live-tweet their experience to bring a sense of togetherness with everyone as well!”
We also asked the team if they have any favourite songs that they’re looking forward to most. Except there were far too many for us to list! But it was also no surprise that ‘Fine Line,’ ‘Kiwi,’ and ‘Medicine’ were the most popular by a mile. We can’t help but agree!
So, if you too would like to spend a couple of hours on the 21st of May at 8 pm BST at Love OnLine with us then you can sign up for tickets here. (This event has been so popular there are technical difficulties with the listing on Eventbrite that the event team is working hard 24/7 to fix!)
