Ruby Rose shocked Arrowverse fans when she announced she was leaving Batwoman after one season. When the show premiered, Rose’s performance didn’t sit well with fans. Many felt she wasn’t a good actress and was too monotone. As the show progressed, they warmed up to her and now she’s leaving!
It’s always a whammy when the main character leaves a show because fans feel no one can replace them. Luckily THP doesn’t feel that way. Here’s a list of women we’d think would be the perfect replacement:
Ashley Platz

If there’s anyone who’s ready to take on the role of Batwoman it’s Ashley Platz. Platz was one of the ladies in the running, before losing to Ruby Rose. Since Rose announced her departure, Platz has let it be known she’s ready to replace her. “Your support. Since 2018. Continues to move me so deeply. I am so grateful. Thank you for believing in me since the beginning. This is starting again ❤️🦇❤️ @cwbatwoman@thecw” She wrote on Instagram.
While posing in a Batwoman T-Shirt she also said, “Post meditation today I decided that I would put jeans on for the first time since Shelter At Home began. And something else I haven’t worn in a while. I think it looks good on me. #batwoman#AshleyPlatzIsMyBatwoman#SelfieSaturday@cwbatwoman 🦇❤️🖤💪🏼”
Jade Tailor

Another actress who’s expressed interest in the role is Jade Tailor. Tailor is known for playing badass Kady Orloff-Diaz in SyFy’s The Magicians. She has the fighting skills and is used to long hours on set.
Soo… since #rubyrose is no longer playing #Batwoman on #BatwomanCW I think they should cast someone with fighting skills (like krav maga) who has already played a bad ass on screen the last 5 years and loves working crazy hours! Just saying @TheCW I’m right here waiting🙋🏻♀️

Natasha Negovanlis

When CW announced the Batwoman series in 2018, fans compiled a list of who should play the titular character. Natasha Negovanlis was at the top of almost every list. Known for playing in the queer vampire series Carmilla, and an advocate for LGBTQ rights, Negovanlis is a perfect option to play the queer caped crusader.
Emma Watson

Producer Greg Berlanti and showrunner Caroline Dries made it clear they want the role to go to an LGBTQ actress. While Watson is a heterosexual, she’s an LGBTQ advocate. Acting in something as action-filled as Batwoman would be new territory for her, but she has proven to be a versatile actress.
Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne becoming the new Batwoman is a long shot, but a girl can dream right? Twitter erupted with fans calling for Delevingne to replace Rose, but with her currently starring on Carnival Row, it’s likely not going to happen.
