We’ve already talked to you about TWIN XL, we know, but this is just too good to pass up. With all the insane stuff going on we have to give you an escape. What better escape than a quarantine shot music video? We talked about ‘Melt’ once. Let’s do this again, the right way.
This music video was shot in quarantine. And by that we mean, we all want to be safe. These challenges make us grown and learn cool new techniques. Lately, everyone is glued to some kind of screen, it’s the way we work currently. In the music video, each band member is chillin’ on their own on little TV screens.
This is a time where we learn a little more about ourselves. Plenty of people watch some TV and find that spark that brings them back to life. Well, you’ll see what we mean if you haven’t watched it already. No excuses, here is the ‘Melt’ Music Video by TWIN XL.
Up until this release, we hadn’t really done a straight up performance video yet and with all of us being stuck at home under quarantine, it seemed like a fun thing to do and suited the vibe of the song. Our director, Jade Ehlers, helped to come up with this really cool angle where it almost feels like we are trapped inside of these old TV’s performing the song – it’s really quite symbolic. We shot it ourselves from two different locations and he put it all together. It was a really awesome and fun learning experience.TWIN XL
The music video is fun and meta. Watching a music video within a music video, ya know? Plus the whole being put on display for others and losing yourself in the process…. okay, okay we promised we wouldn’t go there.
After that viewing experience, we present to you some fun facts courtesy of TWIN XL. Follow the thread and find out more cool facts!
