Celeste Lets Us See Her Change In ‘I Can See The Change’

We’re pretty big fans of Celeste, after all, how can you not be fans of someone with a voice as angelic and soulful as hers? She’s even got fans in the celebrity world, including Finneas and Billie Eilish. Celeste released her song ‘I Can See The Change’ a little bit ago. The video, produced by the one and only Finneas, is now out!

The video is simple yet magical. She takes our breath away with her glimmering dress that sparkles in the light. It’s like what you’d expect watching someone evolve into a better version of themselves, changing. Directed by Sophie Jones over Zoom, check out the video below!

Plus, you can check out what Celeste had to say about the song! Shooting the video on the hottest day of the year doesn’t sound that great, but the video turned out looking gorgeous.

The song was written from a very personal and introspective place, however it has taken on a new and more powerful meaning because of what has been happening with Covid-19 and the global reinvigoration of the Black Lives Matter movement. The video was shot at home in my living room, which was completely blacked out using thick, heavy fabric. It was the hottest day of the year so far, so it was a challenge. It was directed by Sophie Jones and shot remotely via Zoom with my housemate Holly Milk who took on the role of camera person, lighting operator and all-round life saver.
