Scorpions Bring Us A Bit Of Hope With ‘Sign Of Hope’
We could all use some hope right now, and Scorpions came to the rescue to bring us a ‘Sign Of Hope’ with their new song! Given the title, you can tell that the song feels hopeful and comforting, letting us all know everything will be alright. Along with that message, it’s also doing some good as proceeds will be going to MusiCares! You can listen to the audio below!
They’re also working on a new album, but with COVID-19, they knew they had to give us a little bit of hope first.
We are working on lots of hard ‘n’ heavy rockers for our new album these days. But because of the dramatic COVID-19 pandemic, we want to give you a little ‘Sign Of Hope’ that came straight from the heart in troubled times. Stay healthy and safe — we love you.
The Disco Biscuits Took Us Out To The Ball Game And Came Home With $75,000 For Plus1 For Black Lives Matters Fund
Last Tuesday night, The Disco Biscuits did a live stream performance from the field of an empty Citizens Bank Park. Called ‘Take You Out To The Ball Game,’ the title fits the performance as they played in a field. It had almost half a million viewers, and donations totaled over $75,000! 100% of that money will go to Plus1 For Black Lives Matters Fund!
What an incredible experience to reconnect with my band members and our fans,” said Marc Brownstein, bassist, the Disco Biscuits. “We are grateful to our partners at Live Nation and the Philadephia Phillies for this platform to share our music and raise awareness of PLUS1 and help the Black Lives Fund. Thank you to all of our fans who tuned in and helped us raise a significant amount of money to help PLUS1. We have been sidelined for three months and it felt so good to play together as a band again. I have been to this Ball Park so many times and it took me a while to realize no one was going to be here but us. It was a lot of fun and we can’t wait to do it for real in front of a live audience when we can all be together again.
Marc Brownstein, bassist of The Disco Biscuits
Imagine what it must’ve been like to perform at an empty arena and play a show to hundreds of thousands of people at the same time! All the while knowing many people are sending in donations and they’re helping the Plus1 For Black Lives Matters Fund!
That was totally insane getting to play live again as a band. We had so much fun. It took a few seconds for it all to sink in and for me to absorb what was going on here at Citizens Bank Park. We have played on nearly every type of stage and now we can say we played at the home of the Phillies. We hope everyone who watched the stream at home had as much fun as we did and we hope everyone will continue to support PLUS1 and make contributions. They’re doing great work and we appreciate their involvement.

Happy Pride Month! Check Out Prime Video’s Pride Inside Festival
With COVID-19, lots of pride events had to be canceled this month. Not to worry though, as we’ve got lots of virtual events! It’s not the same, but it can be cool, too! One of the events we highly recommend checking out if you’re in the LGBTQ+ community is the Pride Inside Festival, coming to you through Prime Video.
The event takes place on June 27-28, and though it’s almost the end of Pride Month, we hope it’ll be a good way to end it! With lots of amazing artists, including Betty Who, The Aces, Greyson Chance, and more! Check out all the details and artists below!
