The group’s most recent V LIVE, which is a livestream broadcasting app popular among many Korean artists, began with BTS members Jin, Jungkook, and Jimin casually talking about resting, rainy days, their recent hobbies, and reciting 3-word acrostic poems. The ‘audio only’ transmission, that was dubbed ‘JiJinJung R.A.D.I.O.,’ has garnered over 6.29 million streams and received a ‘surprise’ visit from J-Hope, RM, Suga, and V; it truly added more entertainment to the party. You can view it here.
After their usually fun and diverse conversation, which ranged from re-enacting their most recent ads, talking about food, working out, writing songs, asking about their pets, retaking the TOEIC test again (we see you RM!), and reporting about traffic conditions, they casually dropped the bomb.
Their new digital single will be released on August 21 and the members were excited to let us know that this is a fun and energetic summer track recorded in English and meant to cheer up ARMY. This announcement blew off our wigs, especially after seeing it posted on “BTS Weverse,” their official community platform.

The band has been missing ARMY, and this has been the main reason for them wanting share this single with us before the release of their next album later in the year. They finalized their V Live and later posted a group selfie in which we could appreciate darker hair colors and one unknown color (🤔 what are you hiding, V?).

BTS is known for their dedication to ARMY, and we all can agree that 2020 has been a challenging year. With that being said, BTS definitely knows how to make us feel better. 💜
bts are having a hard time too but all they want is to provide healing and happiness through their music in such a situation around the world and they are satisfied if their music can even reduce our pain from 100 to 99, 98, or 97..#BTSISCOMING @BTS_twt
