Juice WRLD Leaves Us With A ‘Smile’ With Single Ft. The Weeknd

Juice WRLD Leaves Us With A ‘Smile’ With Single Ft. The Weeknd

A dream fulfilled. Even though Juice WRLD is not around to enjoy it for all it is himself, this song is more than worth the celebration. Making his legacy proud, Juice WRLD’s estate released an ultra-special collaboration with artist extraordinaire The Weeknd. The highly anticipated collab did not disappoint.

The Weeknd, a fan favorite, is an artist with pipes that are just unbelievably unmatched. Our hopes were high when the collab was teased via The Weeknd’s socials.

What was ultimately unique, though? This release showed The Weeknd’s respect for the song for what it was – a Juice WRLD original. The Weeknd’s raw and natural talent easily (but not purposefully) can steal the show of almost any collaboration, but it seems that The Weeknd handled this one with the utmost care. He showcased his apparent skills but made it the perfect complement to the already kick-ass song.

Long time Juice fans may be familiar with this song as an unreleased tune titled ‘Sad.’ It provides a clean, emotional, and established flow that we know, love, and, most importantly, cherish from our fallen homie, Juice WRLD.

While we wish we could have seen the “diamond album” the pair had the potential tor produce, we’re just happy we could see this song happen—a mellow, but a necessary song to every playlist.
