A Legends Legacy Never Dies: Juice WRLD’s Accomplishments

Juice WRLD will forever hold a tremendous influence on the music industry. Breaking barriers of emo-trap-rap, he continues to resonate worldwide as the sixth track from Legends Never Die gets rave reviews. Smile featuring The Weekend debuted within Top 10 of Hot 100 Chart, landing in at number 8. This track also lands Juice as having more top 10’s on the Billboard Hot 100 than any artist this year. The sing-along-wholesome-as-hell tune is Juice WRLD’s 7th song that has debut on Billboard Charts this year alone, and his 9th overall from his career. Previous songs that helped him achieve these records from the recent Legends Never Die include:

‘Come & Go’ at No. 2
‘Wishing Well’ at No. 5
‘Conversations’ at No. 7
‘Life’s a Mess’ at No. 9
‘Hate The Other Side’ at No. 10

Juice WRLD is the third artist to claim five of the Top 10 slots in a single week, following Drake and the Beatles. Brought to life July 10th, the record-defying posthumous album debuted at number #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart and scored the biggest streaming week of 2020, outshining The Weekend’s After Hours (We’re certain he doesn’t mind). Legends Never Die made history as the most successful posthumous debut since Notorious B.I.G’s Life After Death (690K) and Tupac’s R U Still Down (549k) in 1997. Fans of all genres of music can agree that those albums were staples to the industry then and now. Making it clear that this album will hold its place in the industry for years to come.

A Legends Long-Lasting Legacy

A solidification of his long-lasting legacy Juice WRLD made us proud of his poetic, creative, and bright mind, which was indeed like any others. An artist with integrity and pure emotional honesty, his passion was apparent on every single track. His legacy lives through this album and the rest of his discography, and through his foundation Live Free 999. Started by his mother, Carmela Wallace, this legacy supports young people in their battles – with love, joy, and emotional honesty just as Juice WRLD taught us to. Find more information on the Live Free 999 Foundation here.

A forever staple to the music industry, we remember Juice WRLD for all that he is. While he may not be around to see the accomplishments of this album, we as fans will forever celebrate it for him.
