Did Your Fav Win at the 2020 VMA’s?

MTV’s Video Music Awards are always the talk of the town after its premiere, but the 2020 VMAs was definitely one for the books. Not only did the award show have to deal with the usual hiccups that happen when filming a live event, but they had to stay within social distancing guidelines and take all the love a live show brings and wrap it completely differently.

From the handing off of the awards being a thing of the past, more artists sending in video acceptance messages and even socially distance drive-in concerts for the performances, the VMA’s put on an amazing show in light of the current circumstances. The event even managed to put on a pre-show and feature a few red carpet outfits and interviews!

Hosted by KeKe Palmer, this year’s show also had some unforgettable performances by Dababy featuring the Jabbawockee, Miley Cyrus, Chloe X Halle, Maluma, Doja Cat, CNCO, and many more. BTS also debuted their first VMA performance at this year’s show!

This show was also special to Lady Gaga’s “little monsters” as their head huncho took home the VMA’s MTV Tricon Award, and after an unforgettable performance featuring Ariana Grande, wild outfits and face masks, there’s no doubt as to why she was graced with such an accomplishment.
