Hey Violet Create Total Serenity in Their New Backyard Sessions

It’s been a minute since Hey Violet last released some music, so it was total bliss to be greeted with a brand new song today when the trio took to YouTube to give us the first look of a newly penned track acoustic style.

Bringing calm into the chaos that is this world, Rena, Nia, and Casey took to their back garden and serenaded us with the new song ‘She’ complete with the tranquil sounds of trickling water and rustling leaves, bringing us to a total state of bliss and relaxation.

It seems that Hey Violet has been utilizing their time at home during the pandemic to work hard on their music, with many fans hoping for the release of HV2 in the foreseeable future following the collection of songs they dropped last year.

And when they’ve not been on the grind songwriting, they have been using their platform to raise crucial awareness of everything going on in the world, sharing petitions to sign and advice for protestors amid the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as attending the protests themselves.

Earlier this year also saw Hey Violet featured on the soundtrack of To All The Boys: PS I Still Love You with their single ‘Better By Myself’ along with Ashe and Chaz Cardigan. They also opened for Olivia O’Brien on her tour It Was A Sad F**king Tour before the pandemic forced for it to be postponed. We’re counting down the days until we can see them again!
