5 Reasons Why… You Should Stan (G)I-DLE

(G)I-DLE is dominating the game right now, and if you’re looking for reasons why you should stan them, then you’re in the right place.

The South-Korean girl group is made up of six immensely talented members: Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Yuqi, and Shuhua. It’s been more than 2 years since their debut with their first mini-album, I Am, and their iconic first title track, ‘Latata’. Since then, (G)I-DLE have made their mark in the industry with their music and everything that surrounds them, but if you’re here you probably already knew that.

So, here are 5 reasons why you should stan (G)I-DLE.

Their range

Whether it’s to their sound or their concept, (G)I-DLE has range.

They’re a girl group that can pull off everything and anything. They go from more colorful and fun songs like ‘Dumdi Dumdi’ to very dark songs like ‘Lion’ to songs like ‘Hann (Alone),’ and they kill it every single time.

They’re not afraid to try different things and explore concepts. Every time they take it to the next level. ‘Oh My God’ is just one example that took the girl crush concept to a whole new level.

You never know what to expect next when it comes to (G)I-DLE, but you always know it’s gonna be amazing.

Their stage presence is no joke

Apart from having amazing music, music videos, concepts, and more, there’s another reason to stan G-IDLE. When it comes to performing, these girls are amazing.

It’s not just about the choreography and the vocals – which are already amazing. Their performance and attitude always switch and fit the concept so well. Every single member has such a charismatic presence when they’re on stage. Their fancams are seriously so addicting and so pleasing to watch, even when you’re not a fan.

Music Videos

If you could describe their music videos in one word, it would be hypnotizing.

As they have such a wide range, every music video is very different from the other. Still, every single one of them is so well made and hypnotizing. The choreography is always on point and fits the music perfectly, and of course, their visuals are gorgeous, and the members are too.
It’s hard to click on one of their music videos and not watch it until the end just to watch it over and over again.

They’re unique

Yes, (G)I-DLE has a lot of range, and they’re never afraid to try on never-seen-before concepts, but while doing all that, there’s no way you can’t recognize one of their songs from the others when you hear it. When you hear a song, you know it’s (G)I-DLE.

That’s due to a lot of things, one being their vocals. All of the members have very different and distinctive vocals, and when it comes to rap, well, there are no words to describe the genius of Soyeon but, we’ll get into that later. Also, with the performances, they always find a way to keep it fresh and have very unique stages and choreography.

There’s something very unique about every aspect of this group.

Self-made music

One of the things that make (G)I-DLE so unique is the fact that they make their music. You can always sense their unique touch.
Their leader, Soyeon, writes and produces most of their music, and it shows when it comes to her stage presence, her vocals, her rap, and just about everything she does. Her implication into the music can be sensed from miles away, which is always very refreshing and nice to see.

In other words, the involvement in their music is a plus to everything they do that’s already amazing on its own.

(G)I-DLE has the whole package, so what are you waiting for to stan?
