Blackbear Wants to ‘Smile Again,’ Help Him Out?

Blackbear is back with a video for ‘Smile Again’ and it’s tugging at our heartstrings. The song is featured on Blackbear’s new album, everything means nothing, which you should also check out. It’s a melancholy track, with Blackbear singing about lost love and reminiscing on the time spent in the relationship. The chorus lines are bittersweet; “But I was happy for a while and I don’t know how I’ll smile again.”

Before we talk about the video, go ahead and give it a watch:

The video matches ‘Smile Again’ perfectly in our opinion. We see Blackbear watching old videos and remembering those good times, remembering how genuinely happy he felt during those moments. It’s a feeling that many of us have probably felt before and it’s a feeling that was captured perfectly in this song and video.

Along with a new album and music, video, Blackbear is also performing soon! Now, we know what you’re thinking. “But THP, how is he gonna go onstage during a pandemic?” Virtually, of course! Like many other artists, he’ll be streaming a show live, which you can get tickets here! (and make sure to keep an eye out for those pesky time zone differences)

We love Smile Again so much and you will too!
