Zayn Malik Unveils Sultry Love Ballad ‘Better’ And We’re Not Okay

Things are about to get so much ‘Better’ this year! Global music sensation Zayn Malik has unveiled his first single in 2020. ‘Better’ from his upcoming album, and we know it will definitely be worth the wait every second.

The 27-year-old singer/songwriter has marked a smashing musical come back after two years since the release of his sophomore solo album Icarus Falls in 2018, and our lives feel so much better already. This latest mellow R&B ballad track is definitely going to be a chart topper, and we’ve been jamming to it on the loop since its release.

As the title suggests, this is indeed a positive addition to 2020, which is better in so many ways!

But our excitement doesn’t stop here. Later, Zayn took to his official Twitter and Instagram account to tease a snippet of the music video featuring someone spying on him in his apartment while a vinyl is playing in the background.

This latest emotive single ‘Better’ accompanies a beautiful, sultry, laid-back music video that was released on Friday. It features shirtless Zayn with his newly dyed red hair, laying on the bed and confessing his love while the aesthetic intimate visuals leave a mesmerizing effect on the viewers.

Zayn has successfully managed to deliver a visual splendor; from flaunting his toned abs and tattoos as he lays down shirtless on the bed to dressing up in a striking blue tuxedo, the singer gives an intimate view while preparing to win back his love. It’s all SO HAWT (ahem, excuse us while we are still swooning).

Directed by Ryan Hope and produced by Nathaniel Green, the music video has already garnered more than 1.8 million streams on YouTube within 8 hours of its release. Check out the music video below:

“Yeah, sometimes it’s better that way, Gotta let it go so your heart don’t break.” The song has a beautiful soothing vibe, nailing the R&B melody and heart-touching lyrics with a perfect blend of Malik’s smooth and sexy vocals.
