Matt Maeson and Lana Del Rey just released a collab on his song ‘Hallucinogenics’! We know, is ‘Hallucinogenics’ even a word? Well, Matt Maeson made it up, so yes, it is.
Yes, I am aware that Hallucinogenics is not an actual word but rather than basque in my own stupidity I praise myself for being so innovative that I created a word.

The song ‘Hallucinogenics’ originally came out back in 2018 and was featured on Matt’s debut album Bank On The Funeral. But, last year (back when we still had live shows, sigh) Lana invited Matt onto the stage with her at her headline show and they performed the song together. And as you might be able to tell, the studio version was just released! Our ears are blessed, our hearts are happy, we’re thriving.
Listen to ‘Hallucinogenics’ by Matt Maeson and Lana Del Rey here!
Imagine being one of those lucky enough to be at Lana’s Oklahoma show to have seen it live with Matt Maeson for the first time. We might not get that, but we do get to hear it and listen to it as much as we’d like now!
And while we’re here loving the new version, it’s time to reminisce on the original. Check it out!
